Drill Dental — founder & dentist

A multi-location implant and cosmetic group practice I founded in South Florida. The idea is simple to say and harder to do: careful dentistry, current technology, and pricing patients can understand. I designed the flagship office with Kappler Group, working from how patients actually move through a visit.

I trained at NYU College of Dentistry, and kept training — with John Kois, Christian Coachman, Michael Apa, Frank Spear, and Scott Ganz. The practice is a certified Digital Smile Design clinic and a Neocis Platinum Center of Excellence.

Roundtable
DrillOS — founder & developer

Software for running a dental practice, built inside mine first. Its first product is Roundtable, which brings a practice’s numbers, morning huddle, and patient follow-up into one place, and uses AI to draft the daily review and flag the decisions that need a human.

I write the code myself. Running the practice tells me what to build; building it changes how I run the practice. More at drill-os.com.

Neocis — research & design consultant

Research and design consultant for Neocis, the company behind Yomi — the robotic system for implant surgery. Since 2023 my work has covered Gen 1 and Gen 2 robotic workflow development, dual-arch planning, gesture control through the surgical handpiece, and voice-activated workflow transitions.

I operate with Yomi in my own practice, and a clinical case series on robotic-guided immediate implant placement in the anterior zone is pending peer review. Being both the consultant and the end user keeps the advice honest.

Plasmapp — research & design consultant

With Plasmapp I work on the invisible end of the same mission: testing low-temperature plasma sterilization and the regenerative activation of dental materials — technology patients never see, and benefit from at every visit.

Objects

A lot of what I notice, in any field, is how things were designed — how objects, furniture, and buildings were made in different eras, and why. I collect a small number of things made by people who cared: F.P. Journe watches and vintage guitars. The mechanics, the history, and the decisions someone made at a bench a long time before I showed up.

Wildlife has my attention in a way little else does. I support conservation work, and when I travel it’s usually to see animals where they live.

I also joined a dental mission trip to Zanzibar, treating patients who otherwise don’t see a dentist. It recalibrated what I think of as a hard day at work.

Closer to home, I bring the surgical robot to schools — letting students drive the same technology we use in the operating room.
